This quote, from the BBC Radio production of LotR, really struck me: there's so many sweet little quotes about the delight of starting to write a new book, yet in this case, Frodo's words don't exactly evoke such delight, for they speak of the painful memories that he had to encounter while writing the account of his long and terrible journey.

Wow, those are gorgeous! Great job. :) I so love The Hobbit movie. <3
ReplyDeleteThank you Marian! I loved it too, planning on going to see it a third time sometime soon...
DeleteLove the BBC ones my dear and the last one too! Glorious to see so many all at once! I've pinned the last three. :) I was thinking of the Now and For Always love song that Frodo and Sam sing to each other in the musical. "Stouthearted Sam wouldn't let me fall, holding my life in his hand, true to the end, no finer friend, now and for always" :) More, more!
ReplyDeleteNamarie, God bless, Anne Marie :)
Glad you liked, dear!
